Jerusalem, May 10 (EFE).– At least seven people, including an entire family, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to media reports.
The attacks were concentrated mainly in Gaza City and the southern town of Rafah.
According to the official Palestinian news agency Wafa, Israeli warplanes bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, killing a family of five.
Elsewhere in Gaza City, a drone strike in the Tuffah neighborhood killed one person.
In a separate incident off the coast of Rafah, a Palestinian man was killed by fire from Israeli naval vessels stationed nearby.

These latest attacks follow an Israeli airstrike on Friday that hit a building formerly used by the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) to coordinate food distribution in the Jabalia refugee camp, in northern Gaza.
According to local media, four people were killed in that strike.
Independent international journalists have been barred from entering Gaza since the war began, with Israel maintaining full control over access to the enclave.

Following Friday’s bombing, the Israeli military confirmed it had targeted Jabalia, saying the strike was aimed at a group of Hamas fighters.
As with previous strikes on civilian infrastructure, the army said it had taken precautions to avoid civilian casualties.
More than 52,700 Palestinians have been killed and over 119,000 injured in Israel’s military campaign against Hamas in Gaza since the militant group’s Oct. 7, 2023, attacks on Israel, according to health authorities in the enclave.

The majority of those killed, according to hospital data, are women and children. EFE
