Kyiv, Aug 25 (EFE).— Russian strikes on Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, near the Donetsk front, have injured four journalists, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Three journalists of Ukrainian, American, and British nationalities were injured while staying at a hotel. A fourth journalist, Polish reporter Monika Andruszewska, sustained minor injuries when her vehicle was hit.
“In the middle of the night, Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk. One of the targets was a hotel. We currently know of two wounded and one person still trapped under the rubble,” Donetsk Governor Vadim Filashkin said on his Telegram channel.
“The three victims are journalists from Ukraine, the United States, and the United Kingdom,” he added.
In addition to the hotel, a nearby apartment building was damaged. Authorities and rescuers are working to remove the rubble and assist those affected.

Reuters reported that one of its six-person teams was staying at the Sapphire Hotel, which was hit during the attack. “One of our colleagues is missing, and two others have been hospitalized,” the agency said.
Polish journalist Monika Andruszewska from the weekly ‘Tygodnik Powszechny’ was also slightly injured when a projectile hit her vehicle. She shared her experience on Facebook, including a photo of her injured arm.
Donetsk Governor Filashkin also noted that seven civilians were killed in the region yesterday due to Russian attacks, five of whom were in Kostiantinivka, with 15 others injured. EFE
