London, Mar 8 (EFE).- Activists vandalized US President Donald Trump’s golf course in South Ayrshire, Scotland, painting “Gaza is not for sale” in giant letters on the grass and pro-Palestinian messages on the resort’s buildings.
The Palestine Action group claimed responsibility, calling it a response to Washington’s “declared intention to carry out ethnic cleansing in Gaza.”
The protest targeted the property’s most prestigious hole.
Trump has previously suggested relocating Palestinians to neighboring Arab states and rebuilding Gaza.
Days ago, he shared an AI-generated video on Truth Social depicting himself and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a luxury “Trump Gaza” resort.
The group “rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes,” it said in a statement.
“To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance.”
Scottish police said they received an alert at 04:40 GMT and have launched an investigation.
The vandalism follows another protest in London, where a man scaled part of Big Ben with a Palestinian flag, prompting a police response. EFE
